INTO THE VOID
For this performance, I wanted to convey the intensity of an anxiety attack through light, sound, and dance. I created the musical composition, drawing inspiration from Steve Reich's work on Drumming, based on a phase and dephasing principle. The music accompanied my dance, reflecting the increasing anxiety with a constantly accelerating tempo.
The LED strips mounted on the ceiling and the projector created luminous zones that played with depth and contrast effects. The lighting installation was designed and developed in collaboration with Marius Rohrbach, a lighting engineer.
